T
In the celebration of Mass the faithful form a holy people, a people whom God has made his own, a royal priesthood, so that they may give thanks to God and offer the spotless Victim not only through the hands of the priest but also together with him, and so that they may learn to offer themselves.” This is the basis for the “full, conscious and active participation” of the faithful demanded by the very nature of the Liturgy.
Eucharistic Ministers
This ministry assists with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during the liturgy of the Eucharist. In every celebration of the Eucharist, there should be a sufficient number of ministers of Holy Communion so that it may be distributed in a reverent and orderly manner. For more information, please contact our parish office at 440-331-4255.
Ushers
Ministers of Hospitality are usually the first to greet the attendees at a Mass, to open doors, answer questions, and pass out bulletins before Mass. They may assist the elderly and disabled. They may be called on to find available seats for members of the congregation. They should watch during Mass for any problems that may arise, and be ready to help if needed. For more information, please contact the parish office at 440-331-4255.
Lectors
The lector is to proclaim the readings from Sacred Scripture, with the exception of the Gospel. They also pray the Prayer of the Faithful. For more information, please contact the parish office at 440-331-4255
