A Lasting Legacy

A Life Celebrated
Forever.

Why A Legacy Gift?

There are many reasons you may be thinking about a legacy gift to St. Christopher Parish. You may be looking for a way to express your gratitude to God for the blessings you have received. Perhaps you have a desire to share with future generations the Catholic values that have shaped you. Maybe you have not been able to give from your income during your lifetime, but you want to plan for a larger gift from your assets at your death.

Fortunately, it is possible — and simple — to make a meaningful legacy gift that reflects the Catholic faith you hold dear.

Why It Matters

A legacy gift helps ensure that future generations in our parish will:

  • Experience vibrant worship and lifelong faith formation
  • Be supported through ministries of charity, compassion, and outreach
  • Worship in a parish strengthened by the faith and generosity of those who came before them

Your Story. Your Stewardship. His Glory.

Your legacy gift is more than a donation—it is a statement of faith and a blessing for generations of parishioners yet to come. Many parishioners find great joy in knowing that their faith will continue to bear fruit long into the future.

You may also choose to designate your legacy gift to the parish endowment, helping provide long-term support for the mission and ministries of St. Christopher Parish.

Mary Lou Ozimek, Assistant Executive Director of Catholic Community Foundation, outlines how CCF can help you explore planned giving options.

Considering a Legacy Gift?

We encourage you to work with your trusted legal or financial advisors to determine which legacy gift option is right for you. Suggested language to share with your advisor includes:

“In gratitude for all God has given me, I give (a specific amount, percentage, or description of an asset) to St. Christopher Parish, 20141 Detroit Road, Rocky River, Ohio 44116, Tax ID #34-0714494.”

The Catholic Community Foundation’s comprehensive estate planning kit will help you protect loved ones, organize everything in one place and save on taxes.
